Avanto bottle on a table.

A Cultural Ambassador

The Avanto bottle’s design is a deliberate embodiment of its Nordic origins, sculpted with a minimalist aesthetic. Its form finds inspiration from the cut-out ice blocks used to create the traditional opening for ice swimming after sauna. This unique shape serves as an ambassador from the North, reflecting the stark beauty and pure essence of the region.

The bottle and its cap are engineered to merge into a single, cohesive entity, emphasizing unity and clean lines. Beyond its evocative appearance, the design is compact and highly functional. Conceived not as a single-use item but as a reusable carafe with readily available refills, its design underscores Avanto’s commitment to responsible practice. This expression is distinctly Scandinavian: simple, functional, and profoundly resonant. Design by John Brauer.
