Handcrafted Through Generations
The production of Avanto is rooted in a 200-year-old mill and distillery, which has been under continuous family ownership for seven generations and has recently been upgraded to a modern facility. This spirit of meticulous crafting is evident from the sourcing of ingredients, including wheat and rye, from local farmers with full traceability. The grain is milled using traditional methods in the 200-year-old millstone. The mash then undergoes a unique, low-temperature fermentation process that extends over three weeks, designed to extract specific flavors and sweetness. The resulting liquid is distilled and polished through charcoal in copper columns more than 70 times. The outcome is a pure spirit that only requires blending with our own artesian water, with no additives needed. All production steps are crafted manually and in small batches.

Crafted with care, following an extensive 3-week cold fermentation process, Avanto® reflects a deep respect for nature and tradition.
